Chinese Peacekeepers to South Sudan (Juba) Conduct Joint Long-distance Patrol

JUBA, Jan. 19 -- Acting on the authorization of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and under the order from the Sector Juba Command, the 12th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to South Sudan (Juba) recently carried out a joint long-distance patrol mission in the Tombek region.

The joint patrol lasted two days and one night, covering a total distance of more than 200 kilometers. The mission comprehensively assessed the peacekeepers’ overall capabilities and effectively enhanced their ability to carry out diversified tasks.
