NUKU'ALOFA, Oct. 20 -- On Oct. 20, local time, the Chinese PLA Navy's hospital ship "Silk Road Ark", which is on the Mission Harmony 2025, concluded its visit to Tonga.

During the visit to Tonga, the Chinese naval sailors visited the Tupou College, where they held cultural exchange activities with teachers and students, showcasing Chinese traditional arts such as folk dance, calligraphy, and martial arts, which further deepened mutual understanding and friendship between the two sides.

It is learned that the hospital ship "Silk Road Ark" also dispatched a medical team to Eua Island of Tonga to provide medical services for local residents. Since arriving in Tonga, the hospital ship has provided medical treatment to 3,995 patients, performed 679 surgical procedures, and conducted 2,718 medical tests, bringing tangible health benefits and goodwill to the Tongan people through practical actions.
