Liao Xilong

  Liao Xilong, native of Sinan, Guizhou Province, was born in June 1940. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in February 1963 and the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in January 1959. He graduated from the Basics Department of PLA Military Academy. A junior college graduate, he holds the military rank of a general.

  He is now a member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Logistics Department of People's Liberation Army (PLA)

  1959-1966: Soldier, deputy squad leader, squad leader, 4th Company, 145th Regiment, 49th Division, Guizhou Provincial Military Command.

  1966-1971: Platoon leader, deputy commander of 4th Company, and commander of 5th Company, 145 Regiment, 49 Division, Guizhou Provincial Military Command...
