The one-month-long first Minority Nationality Officer Training Course of the PLA was concluded in the National Defense University (NDU) on November 10, 2009. 52 leading officers of 11 minority nationalities at division and regiment levels from 15 major military units of the PLA sat in the training.

　　A total of 25 classes were designed for the training course according to such 4 special topics as political theory, national security & military strategy, organization & command in coping with emergencies, and policies on nationality & religion.

　　Some leaders, experts and heroes from relevant govermental departments gave special-topic lectures in the training course.
