BEIRUT, June 3 (ChinaMil) -- The 15th Chinese peacekeeping force to Lebanon carried out an emergency defense drill on June 1, 2016, in order to enhance the Chinese peacekeepers’ capability of dealing with unexpected situations.

The drill was carried out based on simulated scenarios that barracks of the Chinese peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon encountered such unexpected situations as terrorist attack and artillery attack on that day, so as to test its emergency defense preplans.

At the site of the drill, the Chinese peacekeepers with different combat duties quickly practiced their respective tactics in an orderly and coordinated way.

The Chinese peacekeeping forces to Lebanon have been insisting on organizing targeted drills according to the new characteristics of current international peacekeeping operations and security situations of their mission areas.
