About Peace Ark
Chinese navy hospital ship "Peace Ark"
The Chinese navy hospital ship “Peace Ark” with a 10,000-tonnage capacity made its debut on the 60th founding anniversary of the PLA Navy in 2009 . It has 300 beds for patients and eight operation rooms. It is intended to provide medical treatment to the wounded on sea during wartime and offer medical service to the PLA troops stationed in remote islets in peacetime.
