  Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission (CMC) Gen. Fan Changlong left Beijing on June 8 for the United States and the Republic of Cuba for official good-will visits.

  Gen. Fan led a military delegation to start visit to the above two nations upon invitation of the U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter and the Cuban Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces Leopoldo Cintra Frias.

  Adm. Sun Jianguo, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), Gen. Wu Changde, deputy director of the PLA General Political Department (GPD), and Lieut. Gen. Song Puxuan, commander of the PLA Beijing Military Area Command (MAC), are among the main entourage of Gen. Fan Changlong.
