Chinese peacekeeping detachment to Congo (K) passes UN equipment inspection

KINSHASA, CONGO, Feb. 20 (ChinaMil) -- An eight-member United Nations (UN) equipment inspection team came to the camp of the 20th Chinese peacekeeping engineer detachment at the “Chinese peninsula” in Bukavu city of Congo (Kinshasa) on February 15, local time.
 
This is the first UN equipment inspection the Chinese peacekeeping engineer detachment has received in 2017.
 
The targets of the inspection are major equipment, self-maintained equipment and level-I hospital, involving more than 2,000 materials and apparatus in 17 categories such as vehicles, machines, mine-sweeping devices, weapons and ammunitions, catering equipment, leisure facilities, combat-readiness material and medical devices. The Chinese detachment passed the inspection with the 100% availability rate of all the inspected items.
