China, Pakistan military officials discuss mutual cooperation

BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Fan Changlong, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, met Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday.

Fan expressed China's wish for further military cooperation with Pakistan, adding that China appreciates efforts made by Pakistan's military to maintain the security of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

China is willing to elevate the mutual military cooperation in all aspects, Fan said, adding that there is an all-weather friendship between China and Pakistan and a fraternal friendship between the people of both countries.

Pakistan hopes to make joint efforts with China to deepen cooperation and is determined to strike on terrorist forces, said Bajwa.
