BEIJING, Dec. 19 (ChinaMil) -- Lt. Gen. Ma Yiming, deputy chief of the Joint Staff Department under China’s Central Military Commission (CMC), met on Monday afternoon with the visiting Cambodian senior military officers’ delegation led by Gen. MAK SARUN, deputy commander-in-chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, in Beijing.

Ma said Cambodia is a sincere and reliable friend of China, the Chinese People's Liberation Army is willing to work with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, support each other, expand cooperation areas, promote the development of bilateral relations and maintain regional peace and stability, said Ma.

MAK SARUN said that the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces cherishes its friendship with the Chinese People's Liberation Army and is ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese military in various fields and safeguard the common interests of the two countries.
