MACAO, Jan. 6 (ChinaMil) -- The Commander of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Macao Garrison Maj. Gen. Wang Wen has had change of command with his successor Maj. Gen. Liao Zhengrong.
Maj. Gen. Liao was deputy commander of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison before taking up his new position as the commander of the PLA Macao Garrison.
This change of command took place according to an order signed by President Xi Jinping, who is also chairman of China's Central Military Commission. Lieut. Gen. Yuan Yubai, commander of the PLA Southern Theatre Command, announced Chairman Xi's order days ago.
According to a rotation and exchange program of officers, Maj. Gen. Wang Wen has held a new post in a provincial military command of the PLA.
