MOSCOW, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Russian Armed Forces has received over 1,100 pieces of military hardware in the first half of this year, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Wednesday.

Among them are 16 warplanes, 53 helicopters, 80 drones, five warships, engineering equipment, vehicles, means of communication, and ammunition, Shoigu said during a ceremony for the acceptance of the items.
