KIEV, June 17 (Xinhua) -- The coordination group of the anti-terrorist center of Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) carried out large-scale training in the Nikolaev region, south of Ukraine, the agency's press service reported Wednesday.
"The purpose of the training was to increase the level of interdepartmental cooperation during anti-terrorist operations at critical infrastructure facilities in the region," said the press service.
Ukraine's Security Service units, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police, the Patrol Police, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the State Emergency Service, as well as representatives of state authorities took part in anti-terrorist drills.
Earlier this year the SBU held large-scale multi-stage anti-terrorism exercises throughout the country.
