On October 25, 1958, officers and soldiers of the Headquarters of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV), led by CPV Commander Yang Yong and Political Commissar Wang Ping, took the last special train for troop withdraw in Pyongyang to return to China. A crowd of 300,000 Pyongyang residents saw them off in the street.
