WAU, South Sudan, Aug. 21 -- On August 20, local time, the 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Force to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) successfully passed the UNMISS combat readiness capability assessment, with all the items meeting the standards prescribed by the UN.
瓦乌8月21日电 当地时间8月20日,中国第15批赴南苏丹(瓦乌)维和部队顺利通过联南苏团战备能力评估,所有考核项目均达到联合国标准。
The combat readiness capability assessment, as an important evaluation of UN peacekeeping forces, covers staffing, weapons and equipment, engineering support, emergency response, medical aid, and many other aspects. Through methods such as debriefing, comprehensive demonstration exercises, and on-site inspections and inquiries, the assessment team assessed the overall combat readiness capability of the Chinese peacekeeping force on over 100 items in 11 categories.
战备能力评估是联合国对维和部队的一项重要考核,内容涵盖人员编制、武器装备、工程保障、应急处置、医疗救护等多个方面,评估组通过听取汇报、综合情况演练、现地检查询问等方式,对我维和分队各项战备能力进行了评估,涵盖11个方面100余项具体内容。
During the assessment, in response to such training subjects as temporary operating base (TOB) establishment, apron construction, field defense works construction, and medical evacuation, the Chinese peacekeepers accurately completed engineering support, tactical collaboration, medical aid for the wounded, the evacuation of civilians, and other tasks. The assessment team gave full recognition to the Chinese peacekeepers for their professional skills and actual combat capabilities.
在评估考核现场,我维和官兵针对临时行动基地建设、停机坪修建、野战防御工事构筑及医疗后送等演练课目,精准完成工程保障、战术协同、伤员救治、群众疏散等任务,评估组对中国官兵的专业技能和实战能力给予充分肯定。
