BEIJING, Oct. 20 -- The guided-missile destroyer Baotou (Hull 133) attached to the 47th Chinese naval escort taskforce, which is undertaking maneuver patrols in the sea area off East Africa, made a technical stop at the Port of Mombasa in Kenya on the morning of October 18 for a five-day replenishment and rest.

During the technical stop, the naval crew aboard the destroyer Baotou will conduct equipment inspection and maintenance and prepare for subsequent tasks. Meanwhile, they will carry out courtesy calls, cultural and sports exchanges, navigation drills, and other activities.
技术停靠期间,包头舰将进行装备检修保养和后续任务准备。与此同时,还将开展礼节拜会、文体联谊、航行通过演练等活动。
