A task unit composed of the guided-missile frigates Bayannur (Hull 551) and Tongliao (Hull 554) attached to a naval flotilla under the Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command recently conducted maritime training exercise in the waters of the South China Sea. The training thoroughly examined the troops' air and sea operational capabilities.

近日，南部战区海军某支队巴彦淖尔舰、通辽舰组成舰艇编队奔赴南海某海域组织海上编队训练，全面检验舰艇编队对空对海作战能力。这次训练，编队紧贴实战设置训练内容，展开对抗性、整体性训练。
