BEIJING, March 20 -- Troops from the Chinese and Vietnamese navies held the launch ceremony of their 40th joint patrol in the Beibu Gulf at the Fangchenggang Port in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on March 19, 2026. After the ceremony, naval task groups of the two sides carried out the joint patrol missions in the Beibu Gulf as planned.

北京3月20日电  3月19日上午，中越两国海军官兵在广西防城港码头举行第40次北部湾联合巡逻启航仪式。随后，双方舰艇编队按计划展开第40次北部湾联合巡逻。
