Soldiers assigned to a border defense company of the Rikaze Military Sub-command under the Chinese PLA Xizang Military Command recently conducted a routine patrol mission on plateau. After arriving at the parking area by the Mengshi tactical vehicle, soldiers patrolled along the gravel trail and mountain roads covered with ice and snow. It took them more than 5 hours to reach the destination at an altitude of over 6000 meters.

近日，西藏日喀则军分区某边防连执行边境巡逻任务。车辆沿着高原公路前行，到达停车点后，官兵们在沙石路上徒步巡逻，经过冰川，穿越雪地。经过5个多小时的行进，官兵们终于到达了海拔六千多米的巡逻点位。
