A task group assigned to the naval vessel training center under Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command recently conducted the combat-oriented training exercise in the South China Sea, involving amphibious assault ship Hubei (Hull 34), guided-missile destroyer Loudi (Hull 176), and guided-missile frigate Shihezi (Hull 501).

南部战区海军某舰艇训练中心近日组织湖北舰、娄底舰、石河子舰等多艘新入列舰艇组成编队奔赴南海某海域开展实战化训练，加快战斗力生成。

In addition to main training tasks such as anti-air and anti-surface firing, as well as anti-ship missile jamming, the task group also integrated a variety of training subjects into the exercise, such as damage control, underway replenishment, and vertical transport, maximizing the simulation of real combat scenarios.

除对空、对海射击，反导干扰等主要课目，训练期间，编队各舰将舰艇损管、航行补给、立体输送等多类型训练课目融入演训过程，最大限度贴近实战。
