BEIJING, April 22 -- On April 22, the remains and related personal effects of the 13th batch of 12 Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs who lost their lives during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953) were returned to China from the Republic of Korea (ROK).

The handover ceremony was jointly held by China and the ROK at Incheon International Airport in the ROK. Subsequently, the Chinese delegation escorted the remains of the CPV martyrs back to China. A grand welcome ceremony was held at Taoxian International Airport in Shenyang at approximately 11:30 a.m.
22日上午,中韩双方共同在韩国仁川国际机场举行交接仪式,随后,中方代表团组护运志愿军烈士遗骸回国。约11时30分,迎回仪式在沈阳桃仙国际机场隆重举行。
To remember the history and welcome the heroic ancestors home, careful design was made for the call signs of the aircraft involved in this mission. Among them, the Y-20B large transport aircraft used the call sign "Ronggui 50", which means the heroes who set off in 1950 have gloriously returned home. The J-20 fighter jet used the call sign "Hongying" (Red Eagle), representing inheritance and strength.
为了铭记历史,接迎先辈英雄回家,此次任务对飞机呼号进行了精心设计。其中,运-20B呼号“荣归50”,意为1950年出征的英雄们今天光荣回家。歼-20呼号“红鹰”,代表传承与力量。
Red signboards with yellow characters reading "Heroes Come Home" have been set up on many streets and buildings in Shenyang, with slogans such as "Salute Heroes, Remember Heroes, and Revere Heroes" and "Mountains and Rivers Await, Heroes Come Home" written on them.
沈阳市内多个街道、建筑树立起了“英雄回家”的红底黄字招牌,写着“致敬英雄,铭记英雄,崇尚英雄”“山河共盼,英雄回家”等字样。
At 10:00 a.m. on April 23, a solemn burial ceremony will be held at the CPV martyrs cemetery in Shenyang City.
23日上午10时,安葬仪式将在沈阳抗美援朝烈士陵园庄严举行。
Since 2014, in accordance with the international law and humanitarian principles, China and the ROK have successfully carried out the handover of remains and relevant personal effects of a total of 1,011 CPV martyrs in the ROK in 12 consecutive batches.
自2014年以来,中韩双方遵循国际法和人道主义原则,已连续成功交接12批共1011位在韩中国人民志愿军烈士遗骸及相关遗物。
