WAU, South Sudan, June 23 -- To cope with the complex and volatile security situation in the mission area and enhance emergency rescue and coordinated response capabilities under contingencies, the 16th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital and Horizontal Engineering Company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) recently conducted a full-process and full-element comprehensive training exercise on mass casualty treatment along with multiple UN functional departments and foreign peacekeepers.
瓦乌6月23日电 近日，为应对任务区复杂多变的安全局势，提升突发情况下应急救援和协同处置能力，中国第16批赴南苏丹（瓦乌）维和医疗分队和工兵分队，与联合国多个职能部门和外军维和力量，联合开展全流程、全要素批量伤员救治综合演练。
Closely aligned with real-combat conditions, the exercise simulated a sudden conflict in the mission area that resulted in casualties among peacekeepers and UN staff. It focused on testing the battlefield first aid, casualty evacuation, and joint treatment procedures.
此次演练紧贴实战场景，以任务区突发冲突造成维和官兵和联合国工作人员受伤为背景，重点检验战场急救、伤员后送及联合救治流程。
