BEIJING, July 16 -- On July 14, 2026, due to the limited medical facilities on the island, a seriously ill infant over nine months old on Weizhou Island was in urgent need‌ to transfer to a hospital in Beihai City of Guangxi Province in south China.

北京7月16日电 7月14日，广西涠洲岛一名9个多月大的幼儿突发高烧，病情危急。受岛内医疗条件限制，急需转运至北海市市区医院救治。

Upon receiving the call, the Beihai Bureau of the China Coast Guard (CCG) dispatched the patrol boat Tuanheto carry out a maritime emergency transfer mission. During the mission, law enforcers cooperated with the medical staff to monitor the infant's physical conditionand comfort the family members‌. The medical staff transferred the infant to the hospital after arriving at the port.

广西北海海警局接警后，出动团和艇执行跨海紧急转运任务。航行途中，执法员配合医护人员全程密切监测患儿身体状态，耐心安抚家属情绪，顺利将患儿送至码头，由急救人员转运至医院接受救治。

The infantis receiving targeted treatment at the hospitaland is in a stable condition.

目前患儿生命体征平稳，正在医院接受针对性治疗。
