BEIJING, Aug. 3 -- The 24th Chinese Peacekeeping Multi-Role Engineer Unit, Construction Engineering Unit, and Level 1+ Hospital to Lebanon recently underwent a military capability evaluation conducted by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Headquarters. Following three days of meticulous inspection, all three Chinese peacekeeping units passed their first comprehensive capability evaluation since deployment with high marks, proving fully capable of executing all tasks assigned by the United Nations.

北京8月3日电 近日，中国第24批赴黎巴嫩维和多功能工兵分队、建筑工兵分队、医疗分队先后接受联黎司令部军事能力评估。经过3天细致核查，三支分队全部高标准通过部署任务区以来首次综合能力考评，完全具备遂行联合国赋予各项任务的能力。

Since their deployment in December 2025, the three Chinese peacekeeping units have cleared a total of 825 square meters of minefields, destroyed 146 landmines, and marked 27 items of unexploded ordnance (UXO). They have completed 18 annual tasks, including road repairs and mission-area infrastructure projects, as well as 75 temporary tasks. The Chinese peacekeeping medical unit has attended to over 1,900 patient visits from fellow peacekeepers and local residents, and has regularly conducted humanitarian medical outreach and healthcare services to the local population.

自2025年12月部署到位，三支分队累计清排雷场825平方米，销毁地雷146枚、标识未爆物27枚，完成道路修复、任务区基础设施等年度任务18项，75项临时任务。接诊维和友军和当地民众1900余人次，常态开展人道主义义诊，为当地民众提供诊疗服务。
