ZHANJIANG, Aug. 4 -- The 2026 Open Barracks Events for Hong Kong and Macao Youth kicked off in Zhanjiang, south China's Guangdong Province, on August 3, 2026. More than 200 young students boarded naval vessels, experienced weapons and equipment, and took part in such subjects as flag signaling, naval knoting, and fire-proof suits wearing.

湛江8月4日电 8月3日，“同心同行·强国有我”——2026年港澳青少年遇“舰”军营活动在湛江拉开帷幕。200多名来自香港和澳门的青少年学生，登上海军舰艇，观摩武器装备，体验打旗语、打绳结、防火服穿戴等课目。

During the events, participating students will also visit the Zhanjiang Military Port and the Zhanjiang Military Culture Expo Park, watch live-action performances staged on naval vessels, and receive training in basic military skills, including drill, military martial arts, and automatic rifle field stripping, deepening their understanding and appreciation of their motherland through rich and diverse hands-on practices.

活动期间，参加活动的学生还将参观湛江湾十里军港和湛江军事文化博览园，观看军舰实景演艺节目，开展队列、军体拳、自动步枪分解等军事基础课目训练，在丰富多元的实践中，加深对祖国的认知。
