BEIRUT, Aug. 12 -- On August 10, the 24th Chinese Peacekeeping Force to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) successfully completed the clearance and remediation operation at the UNIFIL integrated training ground and passed a joint inspection by the UNIFIL Headquarters.

贝鲁特8月12日电 8月10日，中国第24批赴黎巴嫩维和部队高标准完成联黎综合训练场清排整治任务，通过联黎司令部联合验收。

Over more than 10 days, the Chinese peacekeepers completed all clearance and remediation work in areas including three firing ranges, an ammunition disposal site, perimeter roads, and affiliated parking lots. They detected and cleared 167 signal sources, including bullets and shell fragments, thoroughly eliminating all safety hazards at the site.

历经10余天，维和官兵完成3个射击场、弹药销毁场、环场道路及附属停车场等区域的全部清排整治工作，排查子弹、炮弹破片等信号源167个，彻底消除场地安全隐患。

The UNIFIL Headquarters compound has reportedly been struck on multiple occasions by small-arms fire, artillery shells, and armed drones, resulting in a number of dangerous situations. Since being deployed there on an urgent mission in late March, the Chinese peacekeepers have repaired 2,600 meters of protective barriers, maintained 12,000 square meters of facilities within the compound, and transported 2,420 cubic meters of sand and gravel, erecting a robust protective shield for the UNIFIL command against the spillover of hostilities.

据悉，联黎司令部营区屡遭轻武器、炮弹、挂弹无人机误击误炸，多次出现险情。自3月下旬临危受命进驻以来，中国维和官兵累计修缮防护屏障2600米，维护营区设施12000平方米，转运砂石2420立方米，为联黎部队指挥机构筑牢了应对战火波及的安全屏障。
