BEIJING, Sept. 2 -- On August 31, acting on the orders of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA), the 6th Chinese Peacekeeping Military Utility Helicopter Unit to UNISFA and the 3rd Chinese Peacekeeping Quick Reaction Force (QRF) to UNISFA, together with the infantry battalions from Ghana and Bangladesh and the operations officers, completed a joint aerial reconnaissance mission along the boundary of Sector South in Abyei.

北京9月2日电 当地时间8月31日，中国第6批赴阿卜耶伊维和直升机分队、第三批维和快反分队根据联合国阿卜耶伊临时安全部队命令，会同加纳、孟加拉国步兵营及作战军官完成阿卜耶伊南战区边联合空中侦察任务。

The aerial reconnaissance mission lasted a total of one hour and 40 minutes and involved high security risks. The aircrew of the Chinese peacekeeping helicopter unit strictly complied with UN airspace control requirements and carried out aerial operations along the planned route.

此次空中侦察全程共计飞行1小时40分，安全风险高。直升机分队机组严格遵守联合国空域管制要求，沿预定航线开展空中作业。

On board the helicopter, reconnaissance personnel from the Chinese peacekeeping QRF coordinated closely with Ghanaian and Bangladeshi peacekeepers to patrol key sections of the boundary, uninhabited areas and major transit routes, recording conditions on the ground and collecting imagery.

机上快反分队侦察人员同加纳、孟加拉国维和官兵协同配合，对边界重点地段、无人区域、主要通行通道开展巡查，记录现场情况，采集影像资料。

The data collected during the reconnaissance mission provided first hand information for UNISFA headquarters to assess the situation and optimize force deployment. The multinational joint mission tested and enhanced the Chinese peacekeeping units' operational capabilities in air-ground coordination and multinational cooperation.

侦察任务现场采集的数据为联阿安全部队指挥部研判局势、优化兵力配置提供了第一手参考。此次多国联合任务，检验提升了分队空地协同、多国协同遂行任务的实战能力。
