BEIJING, Sept. 5 -- The border defense troops dispatched by China, Russia and Mongolia conducted the Border Defense Cooperation 2026 joint exercise in a designated tri-border area located in Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia, China, from September 2 to 3, 2026. The joint exercise focused on "jointly preventing and combating reconnaissance and sabotage activities in border areas".

北京9月5日电  9月2日至3日，中俄蒙边防部队在内蒙古满洲里市三方交界的边境指定区域组织“边防合作—2026”联合演练，此次演练以“防范打击边境地区侦察破坏活动”为课题。

The exercise was set against the scenario where terrorists escaped from Russian border area to the Chinese and Mongolian sides.

此次实兵演练，以恐怖分子由俄方向中蒙方向逃窜越境为背景。

During the exercise, the Russian troops dispatched helicopter to conduct air strike; the Mongolian troops blocked the escaping routes and the Chinese drone-assisted combat team detected and locked on the terrorists. Then, under the cover of FPV drones, an assault team advanced rapidly toward the terrorists’ hideout in armored all-terrain vehicles and stormed inside to arrest the terrorists.

俄方出动直升机进行空中打击；蒙方封堵入境恐怖分子逃窜路线。中方无人机战斗组率先发现并锁定目标。突击分队立即在无人机火力掩护下，快速抵近目标建筑，突入室内实施抓捕。
