BEIJING, Sept. 22 -- The 48th Chinese naval escort task force concluded its five-day friendly visit to Bangladesh and departed Chittagong on the morning of September 21, 2026.

北京9月22日电 当地时间21日上午，中国海军第48批护航编队结束对孟加拉国进行为期5天的友好访问，驶离孟加拉国吉大港。

Representatives of the Bangladesh Navy's Chattogram Naval Area, staff members of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, representatives of Chinese-funded institutions and overseas Chinese gathered at the pier to see off the task force.

孟海军吉大港军区官兵代表、中国驻孟大使馆工作人员、中资机构及华人华侨代表等到码头送行。

During the task force's stay in Chittagong, representatives of the Bangladesh Navy and overseas Chinese boarded the Chinese naval ships Tangshan (Hull 122) and Daqing (Hull 576) to gain a first-hand understanding of the vessels' capabilities and the task force's escort missions.

靠泊吉大港期间，孟方官兵代表、华人华侨等登上唐山舰和大庆舰，近距离了解编队舰艇性能和执行护航任务情况。

During the visit, the task force commander paid courtesy calls on Bangladeshi military and government leaders, while representatives of Chinese service members visited the Bangladesh Naval Academy. The two sides also held professional exchanges, cross-deck visits, friendly cultural and sports competitions, and deck receptions.

访问期间，编队指挥员拜会了孟方军政领导，中方官兵代表赴孟海军学校进行参观。双方还组织了专业交流、舰艇参观、文体友谊赛、甲板招待会等活动。
