ABYEI, Sept. 29 -- The 3rd Chinese Peacekeeping Quick Reaction Force to the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) recently underwent a UNISFA military capability assessment.

The UNISFA military capability assessment is primarily aimed at assessing the peacekeeping force's ability to carry out mandated missions and effectively respond to various emergencies.

During the assessment, the evaluation team examined and assessed more than 120 items in 11 areas, including combat readiness training, personnel administration, civil-military coordination, and logistics support. The quick reaction force received an excellent rating in all assessment items and successfully passed its first assessment.
