CHANGSHA, Nov. 2 -- The High-level Strategic Workshop on UN Peacekeeping was held recently in Changsha, central China's Hunan Province. Jointly hosted by the Peacekeeping Affairs Center (PKAC) of China's Ministry of National Defense and the Chinese PLA's National University of Defense Technology (NUDT), the workshop brought together over 60 representatives from major troop and financial contributors to UN peacekeeping operations, as well as relevant UN agencies.

长沙11月2日电 近日联合国维和高级战略研讨班在湖南长沙举办，本次研讨班由国防部维和事务中心和国防科技大学联合主办，来自维和行动主要出兵出资国及联合国相关机构的60余名代表参加。

Under the theme "Empowering Peacekeeping through Science and Technology, Working Together for Global Security," the workshop featured in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics including current challenges and future prospects for UN peacekeeping operations, new technological concepts and prospects for their application in peacekeeping operations, and advancing global security governance through cooperation in UN peacekeeping.

研讨班以“科技赋能维和共促全球安全”为主题，设置联合国维和行动当前挑战与未来展望、维和行动新技术理念与应用前景等三个分议题。
