VIENTIANE, Sept. 9 -- On September 8, the China-Laos "Peace Train-2026" joint humanitarian medical rescue exercise entered the mixed joint training phase.
Participating troops from China and Laos were organized into mixed teams, including command, triage, admission and treatment, and other teams, and conducted training simultaneously.
The Chinese team members first explained and demonstrated the principles and procedures for casualty evacuation indications and triage, as well as the use of vehicle-mounted X-ray machines. Subsequently, personnel from both sides exchanged views on various medical support procedures and the use of medical equipment.
Training in the operation of unmanned equipment was also conducted concurrently. Using drones, unmanned vehicles, and other equipment, the Chinese participants explained and demonstrated operational techniques for casualty search, transport and evacuation, and supply delivery.
