KORLA, Oct. 19 -- The participating troops of the China-Pakistan "Karakoram 2026" joint army training, which is underway at Korla in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, have completed all training tasks in the skills exchange training phase.

Focusing on the practical requirements of counter-terrorism operations in high-altitude areas, the participating troops conducted joint training on such subjects as tactical climbing, close-quarters combat, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operation, on-the-move target search and firing, and long-range sniping.

The troops from both sides learned from each other and engaged in in-depth discussions, enhancing mutual understanding and laying solid foundation for the upcoming specialized training phase.
