JUBA, March 31 -- The 12th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) recently carried out a series of humanitarian assistance activities at the primary school in Nakitun village near the UN camp in Juba.
The Chinese peacekeepers delivered more than 200 items, including school supplies and sports equipment, to the teachers and students there. They also organized drawing and Chinese language lessons, taught the children self-protection principles and safety awareness, and introduced vegetable planting techniques to the local residents to help enhance agricultural production capacity in the area.
