BEIJING, April 1-- On March 29, 2026, the 6th Chinese Peacekeeping Helicopter Contingent to Abyei received an order from the Force Commander for the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) to conduct an urgent armed patrol over the Amiet market and its surrounding areas in Abyei.

The patrol covered a distance of 205 kilometers and spanned 11 key locations, helping protect the local residents and maintain the region's stability.
