BEIJING, Aug. 27 -- The United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) conducted a specialized training program in casualty evacuation from August 24 to 26, 2026. Medical personnel from the 6th Chinese Peacekeeping Military Utility Helicopter Unit to UNISFA and the 3rd Chinese Peacekeeping Quick Reaction Force to UNISFA participated in the training. Alongside personnel from nine peacekeeping units from seven other countries, Chinese peacekeepers took part in the practical exercises and professional exchanges, further strengthening their capabilities in coordinated emergency medical rescue and casualty evacuation across the mission area.
