Fifteen years ago, on August 31, 2010, China's naval hospital ship Peace Ark set sail from Zhoushan City of east China's Zhejiang Province, embarking on its first "Mission Harmony" medical service tour overseas. Since then, it has carried out 10 "Harmony Mission" tasks, providing medical services to over 370,000 people worldwide.
In the past two years, two new naval hospital ships, the Silk Road Ark and the Auspicious Ark, were commissioned in the Navy of Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) successively, further enhancing the Chinese military's capability to provide high-quality public security goods to the world.
