BEIJING, June 18 -- The Chinese PLA Navy's hospital ship Silk Road Ark (Hull 867), which is on the mission to provide medical service to China's sea frontiers in a certain sea area, recently conducted a full-element, combat-oriented emergency rescue drill.
The drill simulated a scenario where multiple personnel suffered typical combat trauma, such as burns, closed fractures of the upper limbs, and chest trauma.
Personnel at various posts assigned to the hospital ship's medical team carried out treatment in an orderly manner according to combat casualty care procedures, successfully fulfilling the medical rescue mission.
