BEIJING, Sept 5 -- Starting from early September, the Chinese naval hospital ship Silk Road Ark will set off for the South Pacific and Latin America to carry out the Mission Harmony 2025, conducting medical service and cultural exchange activities.

It marks the first overseas deployment for the PLANS Silk Road Ark since its commissioning in 2024. The mission aims to strengthen friendly cooperation between China and relevant countries, offer more public safety resources to the international community, and further advance the concepts of a community with a shared future for mankind and a maritime community of shared future.
