BEIJING, Sept. 15 -- On September 13, local time, the hospital ship Silk Road Ark of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), which is on the Mission Harmony 2025, conducted an air-sea collaborative training exercise.
The training, focusing on improving the efficiency ofthe transition between air evacuation and treatment on the ship, further examined the effectiveness of joint command, accuracy in rapid search and rescue, and professionalism in emergency treatment, thereby greatly enhancingthe comprehensive capabilities of the hospital ship Silk Road Ark in undertaking diversified tasks.
The ship departed Quanzhou in southeast China's Fujian Province on the morning of September 5 for a humanitarian medical service mission to the South Pacific and Latin America.
