YAREN, Sept. 22 -- On September 19, local time, the hospital ship Silk Road Ark attached to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), which is on the Mission Harmony 2025, arrived in Nauru, the first stop during its mission, for a seven-day goodwill visit. This is the first visit to the country by a Chinese naval ship. In the evening of the same day, the PLAN medical crew aboard hospital ship Silk Road Ark completed two cases of ophthalmologic surgeries, which marks the first of such surgery conducted on the ship. At the same time, the Silk Road Ark provided various other medical services for the local people.
