BEIJING, Oct. 9 -- The 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival with their international counterparts on October 6, 2025.

As night fell, a "Friendship & Exchange" gala hosted by the Chinese contingent was held at the Chinese camp. UN staff members and peacekeepers from various troop-contributing countries attended the event.

The gala started with traditional Chinese drum music performance and was followed by distinctive song and dance performances presented by peacekeepers from Nepal, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and other countries. These spectacular performances showcased cultural diversity and embodied the deep friendship among the peacekeepers from different countries, thus effectively enhancing cultural exchanges among peacekeepers.
