BEIJING, Oct. 21 -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy's 83rd taskforce completed its goodwill visit to Thailand and departed for Singapore on the morning of October 20, 2025.

During the port call, the training ship Qi Jiguang (Hull 83) held a deck reception featuring traditional Chinese culture display and artistic performances.

The ship Qi Jiguang and the amphibious dock landing ship Yimengshan (Hull 988) organized open ship day activities, with more than 6,000 visitors boarding the ships. Members of the Chinese naval taskforce also had friendly ball games and other exchange activities with the Thai side.
