XI'AN, China, Nov. 4 -- The 6th International Cadets Week of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), organized by the Chinese PLAAF Engineering University, kicked off in Xi'an City, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on November 3, 2025. More than foreign 30 cadets from 17 countries including Indonesia, Egypt, and Peru, will be organized in mixed groups with their counterparts from 12 Chinese military academies such as the PLA National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) and the PLAAF Aviation University for one-week learning and exchange activities.
During the event, the Chinese and foreign cadets will be organized in an international cadets camp to carry out nearly 20 activities including visiting troops, observing military training, participating in military science and technology seminars, organizing model UN conferences, and experiencing traditional Chinese culture.
The International Cadets Week of the Chinese PLAAF has been successfully held for five consecutive editions since its inception in 2012. The event has played a positive role in deepening international military education exchange and cooperation and fostering friendly relations between Chinese and foreign air forces.
