WAU, South Sudan, Dec. 23 -- The 15th and 16th Chinese peacekeeping forces to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) held a rotation and handover ceremony on December 22, 2025, local time. 

The two sides handed over responsibilities and duties based on specific tasks, circumstances, equipment and experience.

The new batch of peacekeeping force is now ready to assume the upcoming engineering support tasks in the mission area.
