On January 23, China Coast Guard continued search and rescue operations for crew members who fell into the water after a foreign cargo vessel capsized near China's Huangyan Dao. Four crew members remain unaccounted for. China Coast Guard vessels Dongsha and Sanmen have joined forces with the Philippine Coast Guard vessel 9701, which arrived at the scene that evening, to conduct a sector-by-sector search and rescue operation in the waters where the incident occurred.
