PLAAF's J-10 Fighter Jets Arrive in Singapore for 10th Singapore Airshow

BEIJING, Jan. 27 -- On the afternoon of January 27, 2026, seven J-10 fighter jets attached to the Bayi Aerobatic Team of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) arrived at Singapore's Changi Airport. It marks the Bayi Aerobatic Team's 13th overseas appearance and is also the team’s second participation in the Singapore Airshow after attending the 7th in February 2020. In the coming days, the team will conduct adaptive training and present spectacular flight shows.

According to Senior Colonel Xie Peng, spokesperson for the Chinese PLAAF, a YY-20A tanker aircraft was dispatched to provide support. The seven J-10 aircraft completed a one-stop flight to Singapore through aerial refueling.

It is reported that the PLAAF Bayi Aerobatic Team has designed several sets of flight maneuvers tailored to the geographical features and operating conditions of Changi Airport. As arranged by the organizers, the team will conduct multiple flight performances during the airshow. It is learnt that the takeoff and landing airport and the display airspace are located in different areas, and the flight performances will be conducted over the sea.
