BEIJING, Jan. 30 -- Peacekeepers assigned to the 24th Chinese Peacekeeping Multi-role Engineering Company to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) completed the renovation of a 300-meter-long pothole-ridden dirt road in Lebanon.

The road is a vital thoroughfare for the local residents' daily travel and material transportation. Due to years of disrepair, it had severely impacted the daily lives of villagers. At the request of the local government and under the temporary assignment from the UNIFIL, Chinese peacekeepers carried out repair work with full effort.
