BEIJING, Mar.10 -- The Chinese PLA Navy's hospital ship Silk Road Ark (Hull 867), which is on the Mission Harmony 2025, concluded a seven-day friendly visit to Chile on March 8, 2026.

During the visit, the Silk Road Ark hosted an open ship day event. Sailors from the Chilean navy and representatives from the Chilean health sector boarded the Chinese hospital ship for visits and gained a good understanding of China's technological achievement in maritime treatment of combat wounds.

The two sides also conducted in-depth discussions on topics including maritime medical support and the treatment of common injuries and illnesses, enhancing mutual understanding and trust through academic exchanges, visits, and other activities.
