BEIJING, Mar. 26 -- A medal-awarding ceremony for the 2nd Chinese Peacekeeping Rapid Response Unit to the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) was held by the UNISFA on March 25, 2026. A total of 150 Chinese peacekeepers were awarded the UN Peace Medal of Honor in recognition of their significant contributions to upholding peace in Abyei.
